Working for Mexico is a premise that demands a tireless, committed and determined will, which at all times must be consistent and in accordance with the trust that we have received from society over the decades to occupy the most important spaces in life. public and political. Honesty and probity, together with the political office, constitute the duty of the DNA of those of us who make participation the instrument to consolidate the progress of the country.
Women and men, people of all ages and social and economic strata have participated in political life thanks to the spaces and opportunities of this Political Institute, and this can only correspond to work whose fundamental objectives are to satisfy the general interest, consolidate the institutions and lead the action of the State towards the authentic materialization of social justice.
Today, finding ourselves at one of the most complex political crossroads in modern history, Mexican democracy faces a scenario of incalculable risks in the face of the onslaught of populism and its increasingly shameless actions from the ruling party, which violates legality, as if it were the title of a recent modern film, “everything, everywhere, at the same time”.
In this context, a viable alternative to counteract these negative effects emerges as a historic alliance that brings together and reconciles forces that have put this general interest above their own, putting aside historical ideological antagonisms in an effort to consolidate an offer and project that is not only electorally profitable, but that focuses primarily on the mission of rescuing and rebuilding Mexico from the so-called fourth transformation, which in fact has been more of a period of massive destruction of institutions, as it is today. claims regarding the INE.
We live in a scenario of concern that imposes on us the challenge of knowing how to unify, reconcile and reconcile political forces with such opposite thoughts and interests, incompatible with each other according to the most skeptical. We are living it in the PRI. I cannot agree or share a thought of division, which only favors some, to the direct detriment of the others. Throughout recent months, the political onslaught and dirty war from the federal government has intensified, and this, although it should be a natural call for cohesion, is providing itself as a cheap pretext for division. That doesn’t make us stronger. That does not pay us as a Party nor does it guarantee us to give our best to the political coalition project that Mexico demands of us.
These words are my respectful call to political unity. Let’s not forget that hitting each other does not lead us to declare winners over each other. On the contrary, fragmentation and dispersion is the defeat of the one who claims and presumes to prevail, it is the conflict that will never have winners.
I extend this call to the legislators of our Party in the Congress of the Union. Thinking differently, doing things differently, expressing ourselves from the difference enhances the value of plurality, that is undeniable. What is not worth it is to use that right abusively to weaken the project that we have ahead of us. The efforts of the three national leaderships of the alliance to build from dialogue, harmony and respect are evident. That disposition is there, it is what allows opening doors. Acting against this provision is demonstrated by trying to keep them closed, secretly and from the secrecy.
Now is not the time for that way of doing politics. Society has told us, not once, but several times already. It is not a call from politics, it is a call from society. Let’s not be the same as always, we already know the results of it.
From the streets of Culiacán and from my beautiful state: Sinaloa, I am sure that the action of a few will not tarnish our partisan colors, our open-door institutions will know how to make the right decisions, we will once again have the trust of the citizenry.
In 2024 we will rescue Mexico from the bad government of lies, illegality, misery, insecurity and fear. We will rescue him without a doubt.
We are from the Mexico where laws and institutions were created, the Mexico that knew how to build itself on stability and economic growth and we will soon return to it.
