The Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia (ICGC) registered this Sunday at 11:38 a.m. a magnitude 2.3 earthquake in the Richter scale on the Costa Brava Gironawithout causing damage and “probably little perceived near the epicenter.”
In a statement, the ICGC has detailed that the epicenter area was on the coast of l’Alt Empordànorth of Cap de Creus, the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula.
As reported by experts, the depth of the recorded earthquake has been 0 kilometershas not caused damage and its origin time has been at 11:38 am.
