Microsoft is fixing a disk bug that Windows 11 users have been experiencing for over six months. About it informs edition of Windows Latest.
Journalists talked about the future update of the operating system under the number KB5008353, it will include a number of important fixes. The update, which has already been made available to beta testers, has solved the problem of slowing down hard drives and SSDs on computers running Windows 11.
“Not only on NVME, even my SATA SSD is now faster. Windows 11 used to load slower than Windows 10,” said an anonymous user who had already installed the update on his PC. Accelerating drive update should be available to all consumers in the near future.
According to experts, the first reports of the problem were seen in July 2021. The error could not be fixed either in the December update or in the current January update.
In December, SamMobile journalists reported on an unknown bug that caused SSDs to slow down. Users of NVMe SSDs from Samsung and other brands have encountered the problem.
