Three attendees of the match between Valencia and Real Madrid were arrested by the National Police for attacking several officers after an incident inside Mestalla between fans of both teams after the match ended.
The detainees are two men and a woman, between 20 and 35 years old and of Spanish nationality. They were arrested for attacking law enforcement agents and narcotic substances were seized from one of them.
UIP agents avoided confrontation between rival fans
According to police sources, around 11:15 p.m. and once the match was over, there was an attempt at a confrontation when fans of both teams crossed paths while leaving the stadium and agents from the Police Intervention Unit urged them to stop their behavior.
The National Police Corps explained this Saturday that one of the detainees persisted in his hostile attitude and attacked an officer with a punch, which led to him being subdued. At that moment, the other two detainees attacked the agents with kicks, punches and a bite on the arm. Four officers required medical assistance.

During the safety device of the crash, 21 minutes of proposal for sanction for violation of the Sports Law 19/2007 and two minutes of proposal for sanction for violation of the Organic Law of Citizen Security 4/2015 were carried out.
