A “great” series of films inspired by King Arthur and the Arthurian myth will be the final culmination of the year-end programming at the Cantabria Film Library Mario Camus. The scheduled feature films span half a century of film history and integrate various genres and cinematography, and will begin on December 18 with the screening of the musical ‘Camelot’.
King Arthur, the “great medieval legend” supported by the texts of authors such as Chretien de Troyes, Sir Thomas Malory or, already in the 20th century, TH Whitehas served as an inspiration to filmmakers of all types and conditions to “reflect on the myth or rewrite it,” as highlighted by the director of the Bonifaz street room, Christian Francoin a press release.
