The Mossos d’Esquadra have arrested in the Horta-Guinardò district of Barcelona to a priest for touching two young people, one of them minor of age.
The touching occurred about two weeks ago, according to the complaint presented by both families to the Mossos d’Esquadra. As a result of these demands, the Generalitat Police arrested this priest on the night of Thursday the 28th, as Mossos sources have confirmed to EFE.
The detainee was rector of the Mare de Déu de Montserrat parish of Barcelona, located on the avenue of the same name. The minor’s family, who was linked to the parish, filed a complaint against the priest on November 15, and days later the Mossos received a second one from the other victim.
The Mossos they keep the investigation open against the priest, who has been accused of a crime of sexual assault.
