The great night of gastronomy has left ‘new stars’ in the sky. It could be said that the Michelin Guide is the one that sets the standard for world gastronomy, since few chefs can say that they are part of the French guide. On this occasion, the Region of Murcia has been in charge of hosting the 2025 Michelin Star delivery gala, specifically at the Víctor Villegas Auditorium and Congress Center. A unique night in which haute cuisine, Mediterranean gastronomy and local culture have gone hand in hand. And after the great secrecy with which the French guide tried to choose the ‘starred’ establishments, finally We know the names of the new references of gastronomy in Spain.
A new ‘Three stars’: Casa Marcial (Asturias)
As in every edition, all the focuses of the Michelin Guide point to the three stars. Restaurants that not only represent exceptionality, but going to eat there is a unique experience. It is the greatest recognition of the dedication, work, effort and passion that can be given to a chef. The Asturian restaurant received the grand ovation at the gala Martial House of the brothers Nacho, Esther and Sandra Manzano.
And equally or even more exceptional than achieving them is maintaining them. In this edition of the Michelin guide gala they announced that The 15 restaurants that already had the three stars will be able to continue showing them for one more year. So now there are 16.
Generosity and surprise in the two stars

Surprises also within the Special Awards category. The Michelin Guide awards the Special Room Service Award to Cristina Díaz, from the Maralba restaurant in Almansa that has two Michelin stars. The one of Sommelier Special José Luis Paniagua took it from the three-star restaurant Atrio.
In the bet on young talents in front of the kitchen, the Young Chef Award It is now supported by Carlos Casillas, the chef at the helm of the new Barro restaurant, which already has a Michelin star, in Ávila.
