From design to reality: born Standing Ovation
The innovation arose from the bond between Lammer and Tichy, a carpenter and adventurer with a penchant for solving practical problems. Inspired by the zip line structures that Tichy manages at his adventure center, the two developed a revolutionary device: Standing Ovation.
The system consists of a C-shaped metal support, which combines an ergonomic seat suspended from rails on the ceiling. This design allows Lammer moves around his kitchen “floating”, moving between workstations with agility. Equipped with a bicycle-style seat, the device eliminates the need to bear weight on your legs, giving you back the ability to cook.
“This gives people with limited leg strength a new opportunity to continue pursuing their dreams,” says Tichy.

Lammer has turned his restaurant into a place of inspiration. Visitors not only savor the gastronomy, but also witness how determination and innovation can overcome seemingly insurmountable barriers.
The impact of Standing Ovation It goes beyond Johanneskeller’s cuisine. This device has the potential to change the rules of the game in many other work environments, and best of all, it is economically accessible, its creators defend. The team behind the device also offers advice to navigate the complex landscape of aid and grants. “We are here to help others find the support they need to adopt solutions like this,” says Tichy.
