This Tuesday, November 26, the Víctor Villegas Auditorium and Congress Center in Murcia receives the prestigious representation of the country’s chefs and restaurants with the celebration of the 2025 Michelin Guide Gala. This is what we will see.
Among these chefs, more than 250 from all over the country, are all the chefs of the restaurants in Spain that hold 2 and 3 Michelin Stars. Recognized professionals will be present, such as Elena Arzak, Quique Dacosta, Martín Berasategui, Dabiz Muñoz, Jordi Cruz, the Roca brothers or Ángel León, among others, as well as a representation of the restaurants distinguished with a star from this internationally renowned culinary guide.
The event will be presented by the journalist and presenter Ainhoa Arbizu, who will be accompanied by the sommelier and chef María Morales, and will feature, in addition to other surprises, a performance by the renowned Cartagena group Arde Bogotá.
After the ceremony of awarding the new stars and recognitions, guests at the event will be able to enjoy catering coordinated by chef Pablo González-Conejero, from Cabaña Buenavista, which has 2 Michelin Stars and who will lead a team of cooks made up of all the chefs of the regional restaurants selected in the Michelin Guide 2024.

The other cooks are María Gómez, from Magoga; and Juan Guillamón, from Almo; both with a Michelin Star; Juan Serrano, by Juan Mari; and Miguel Ángel Albaladejo and María Crespo, from Perro Limón, both Bib Gourmand; Marco Antonio Iniesta, from Phrases; Rodi Fernández, from Taúlla; Alejandro Ibáñez, from Barahonda; Cundi Sánchez and Tomás Écija, from El Albero; David López, from Local de Ensayo; David Muñoz, from Alborada; and Sergio Martínez, from Keki, all of them recommended restaurants.
This dinner will be accompanied by a selection of the best wines from the region, presented by Luis Gutiérrez, the only taster on the Robert Parker team for Spain. The Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports, Carmen Conesa, assured that “hosting an event like the 2025 Michelin Guide Gala places the Region of Murcia and its gastronomic sector at the center of everyone’s attention. , and is a recognition of the effort, talent and very high level of our chefs, restaurants and gastronomy professionals.”

Furthermore, according to Minister Carmen Conesa, “it is a fundamental sector, to which 45,000 jobs are associated in the Region, and represents a direct factor for improving the tourist offer, since it is estimated that tourists spend annually on the Region some 700 million euros in gastronomic activities”.
