A 48-year-old man has allegedly murdered his wifeof approximately the same agetonight, around four in the morning, in the Sevillian town of Steppeand later has taken his life. The events have occurred in the Granada streetwhere the couple lived with his children, 17 and 11 years oldas confirmed to ABC by the mayor of the town, Antonio Jesús Muñoz.
It is a known family in the town, «very integrated, humble and hard-working“, from which you could not expect this,” according to the councilor, who was later able to confirm that the victim had indeed gone in search of advice to the services of the Women’s Information Center provided by the Estepa City Council.
According to investigation, the deaths have occurred by firearm. And, after the bodies were removed, they were moved to the Institute of Legal Medicine of Seville, where autopsies are being performed to confirm that it is a case of gender violence, something that the National Police and the Civil Guard have almost been able to confirm to the mayor.
Since this very morning, the psychological support services of the town have paid attention to the relatives next to the home. The first mayor has also reported that the official mourning after meeting his government team this Sunday. The Civil Guard has taken charge of the investigation.
