“We haven’t competed for a while, but we have been fine-tuning situations to adjust things,” commented the Valencian coach.
He returns Valencia CF to the competition. This Saturday’s day was more than special with the victims and those affected by DANA in memory. This Friday, the coach of the Valencian team, Ruben Barajathe press conference offered on the occasion of the match against the Real Betis sending his “condolences, support and encouragement to the families of the people who died in this natural disaster that we experienced in Valencia, to all the victims, to all the people who have suffered this situation. “It has made us sad and broken for a season.”
The Valencian coach recognizes that this Saturday’s meeting at Mestalla “is very important for us, to try to create the climate that represents the pain we feel for these deaths and everything they have suffered in this time and to try to bring to the match the emotion, that they feel that we are on the side of society and that we are going to try to contribute our ‘grain of sand’ by winning the match so that, at least, they can smile for a moment. It is one more incentive. The most important thing is that our fans convey to the victims the pain we feel for this terrible tragedy.
Baraja considers that «We have to be able to manage emotions. There is going to be a moment in which emotion is going to invade you because there are going to be events, reminders, important things that we as a Club convey to the Valencian society that we are with them, that we are going to support them and when the match, try to bring that match to the energy and emotion that the match itself will ask of us. We have to know how to manage those emotions. Physically, We haven’t competed for a while, but we have been fine-tuning situations to adjust things.”
The match between Valencia and Betis at Mestalla is scheduled to start this Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
