Piélagos presents its new road challenge #PASaXPiélagos at the International Inland Tourism Fair (INTUR), which is being held in Valladolid until this Sunday.
The mayor, Carlos Caramés, explained in a press release that the City Council goes to INTUR for another year since Castilla y León is, together with Madrid, one of the two national communities from which the largest number of people come who visit the municipality. In this sense, he highlighted that the City Council has announced in Valladolid this new tourism promotion project – whose objective is to deseasonalize tourism – articulated around 12 routes (one for each of the 12 towns in the municipality), all of them ” simple” to do “at any time of the year”.

Caramés has emphasized that, through an activity designed as a gymkhana with an exclusive prize for all those who complete all the routesany visitor will be able to discover other heritage, landscape or cultural attractions of the municipality with family, friends or alone.
In addition to the routes, Piélagos has attended the fair with the aim of also promote your local products. Thus, it has carried out different agri-food tastings and has held a raffle for stays in hotel establishments in the municipality.
