“His sense of humor is wonderful,” Musk responded. along with a laughing emoticon and a link to a 2021 BBC news item which highlighted that Zelensky was a comedian before devoting himself to politics.
Zelensky stated on Saturday in an interview with Ukrainian Radio that “For our part, we must do everything possible to end the war next year. Through diplomatic means. It is very important.” On the other hand, the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, “does not want to negotiate.” “I would like to agree on terms of capitulation on our part, but no one is going to give you that,” has stressed.
The Ukrainian leader also recognized the changes that the arrival of Donald Trump to the Presidency of the United States will bring and the pressures that may possibly transfer to kyiv to achieve progress. However, Zelensky stressed that he will wait to have more detailed information about Trump’s perspective in a future meeting with him that is already being prepared.
“I think the war is going to end. Not in the abstract. There is no specific date, but with the policies of the team that will lead the White House, the war will end sooner. That is his approach, a promise to his society. We must not allow them to pressure us, to occupy us, to show weakness,” he added.
“Ukraine will not be alone with the Russian Federation. What can be negotiated with the murderer? There is nothing to do in negotiations in a position of weakness,” he argued.
