Ceri Roscoe-Roberts is a 43-year-old woman from northwest Wales, who won a prize of one million euros in the EuroMillions draw last November.
This woman has spent a large part of her prize on buy a guest house in Snowdonia with her husband Paul, 46, a golf course manager.
However, she has explained that since she has become a millionaire, her five childrens haven’t had more than they normally would have when dates like Christmas and birthdays arrive.
“To be able to give them memories “It’s much more important than buying them big, extravagant gifts,” the woman reasons to justify her decision and that of her husband.
“I left my job and we bought a guest house with all the bedrooms en suite and a garage. Now I wake up every morning and still It takes me a while to accept reality.” says Roscoe-Roberts.
When she heard the news, her first reaction was to turn to her husband Paul and shout, “We’re millionaires!” “There was something that told me when I woke up Saturday morning who had won big in the National Lottery“, said.
“It was the strangest feeling I’ve ever had! I picked up the phone and looked at my emails and there was one saying there was news about my ticket,” he continued. “I logged into my National Lottery account and there was the confirmation: She really was a millionaire!“, says.
But in statements collected by the BBCsays that his life hasn’t changed that much. “I still don’t go shopping somewhere Yes I know that in another it is cheaper. “I don’t think that will ever change,” he explains.
“We both love our jobs, so We have no intention of stopping working. But a bigger home for the whole family is definitely on the shopping list; It’s something we’ve wanted for a long time. And now we have the possibility of buying the house of our dreams!” he concludes.
