The IX Bull Meat Gastronomic Route has come to an end with the selection of the winning gastronomic proposals chosen from among the more than 50 establishments that have participated in this edition.
The Best Tapa has been prepared by the Palomeque Restaurantwhich presented its Creamy Oxtail Tapa in Initiio Grenache Sauce with Foie Gras and Fried Quail Egg.
The proposal of ‘Smooth rice with bull’s tail’ from Dario House as Best Dishwhile enjoyment has won the award for Best Pairing with white wine for their ‘Traditional oxtail stew’ paired with Ensayo Eco 2020. In turn, The Fleur de Lis has been recognized for its red wine pairing with its ‘Bull Bikini with Roasted Pumpkin and Borage Aioli’ with the Initio Eco 2018.
The jury of this edition has awarded a special mention to the restaurant bar The Hórreo Viewpoint of the El Hábitat Sella hotel complex. It has been valued for being the only one that offered a complete menu featuring bull meat. Their proposals were paired with the Albillo Real ECO 2022 and Initio ECO 2018 wines.
The Bull Meat Gastronomic Route is organized by the Almozara Agency with the Las Moradas de San Martín winery as the sole sponsor. Cárnicas Carlos Gómez, Bodegas Carlos Valero and El Gastrónomo Zaragozano collaborate.
