The president of the Valencian Generalitat, Carlos Mazónappears in the Valencian Courts about the new line of action of his Government. The popular leader can announce a remodeling of the Consell, as suggested by the PP ombudsman Juanfran Pérez Llorca.
“He has informed me that new circumstances arise, new challenges appear and we have to think about another type of Council,” he said. Pérez Llorca said this in an interview given to the program The morning news by À Punt, and reported by Europa Press, in which he indicated that he did not know the people who would be affected by this remodeling: “I really don’t know. That power corresponds to the president,” he indicated.
“In the coming days, Mazón intends to remodel his government but I don’t know if he is going to change people’s positions, if he will appoint new ones… But I do believe that there will be a remodeling of the Consell soon,” he added.
The Ombudsman, asked if Mazón has the support of the party in Madrid and if he could resign, stated: “They have never shown me since Madrid interest in that Mazon was gone “They have given me their support, they have asked me what they could contribute and it has always been a cordial conversation.”
“I do not consider – he added – any other possibility than that Mazón continues to be president of the Generalitat. He has to lead this change and move forward with the reconstruction and new measures that improve the security of all citizens,” he replied.
