The president of Argentina, Javier Milei, participated this Thursday in a conservative group gala dinner held at Mar-a-Lagoin Palm Beach (Florida), private club of the president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump, with whom the Argentine had a brief meeting.
As shown in a photo published on the official account in X of the president’s office, the Argentine president had time to take a photo flanked by the president-elect of the United States and billionaire Elon Muskwho will lead the brand new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE, in English).
Milei spoke with Trump during a gala for the conservative America First Policy Institute, where hundreds of guests gathered, although both leaders did not hold a bilateral meeting.
In the brief crossing that both held, the American president-elect congratulated the Argentine for the work he has done leading the Executive of the Latin American country.
Likewise, Milei went up to the podium raised in the Mar-a-Lago hall, to offer a brief speech, which began with a few words in English and then continued in Spanish, with the help of an interpreter.

Milei seeks an FTA with the United States
