The couple of cooks Martín Berasategui and David de Jorge visited The Anthill this wednesday to present Pablo Motos with his new recipe book, Cook and you will winwhich goes on sale November 14.
The book is made up of 80 recipes to cook and win in any circumstance and before any appetite that the experienced chefs have devised.
“You bring us your latest book that has 80 recipes. Choose one that you especially like“, the presenter told his guests. “I would choose the San Sebastian risotto with clams, if you respect the cooking times of the rice and clams it comes out delicious,” commented De Jorge.
Berasategui stated that his favorite recipe from the book was “the cockle marinara with citrus mayonnaise is impressiveand we pay tribute to the fishermen”.
Taking advantage of the fact that they were talking about recipes, the host of the Antena 3 program asked the cooks to They gave the viewers some simple ones for this Christmas.
“These are days that do not invite you to take risks, I would say do something that you know works well for you and follow wise advice, like the ones in the book,” Berasategui explained.
“First of all, ask the family what they want to eat.. There is no need to do extremely complicated things that no one wants to do because it is Christmas. If people want to eat macaroni, tortilla, stew or steak, that’s fine,” De Jorge added.
The Valencian wanted to know how many calories each of them ingested: “I do a lot of sports, I love walking around San Sebastian in the morning greeting the fishermen. I eat a very diet meal and I take good care of myself because then I have to spend all day trying things in the restaurant,” Berasategui told him.
“Well, with me you’re going to get a surprise, people see me and don’t believe it. I have coffee and a persimmon for breakfastand today, for example, I ate a vegetable cream and a perlón (white fish) with endive salad,” De Jorge added.
