The mayor of Pozuelo, from the PP, without words to describe Carlos Mazón: “We left him blank”

From artists to athletes, influencers and even anonymous users have played the same game at the end of an interview or in short videos for social networks. So many, that one would think that any interviewee would already have a few answers prepared just in case.

The premise is simple: I tell you a name—a celebrity, a movie, a politician, a city, a dish of food—and you answer the first thing that comes to mind. But this Tuesday the mayor of Pozuelo has shown what can happen if you have not prepared the answers or have the reflexes to get out of the situation.

Paloma Tejero had already chatted for almost an hour with the Madrid Digital Television journalists when the time came to ‘play’. The challenge was to say the first thing that came to mind when hearing the names of different politicians. Sanchez? “Miserable,” he quickly responded to the presenter while the other journalist complained “hey, you made it easy for him…”

Mazon? After 10 seconds, Tejero sighs. Five seconds later, “I don’t know, I don’t know…” 20 seconds after hearing the name of the president of the Generalitat Valenciana, the mayor picks up the presenter’s glove, “blank, we left it blank.”

For the deputy spokesperson for Más Madrid in the Madrid Assembly, Emilio Delgado, the scene is an example of what happens “when the first question on the exam is the one you know by heart… but not the second.”

Other PP leaders have inspired Tejero’s reaction. Ayuso is “leader”, Feijóo is “sensibility”, Almeida is “management” and the opposition representatives in the Pozuelo City Council are “confusion” and “directionless”.

Somewhere there is something you need to read.
