The Provincial Court of Cantabria has sentenced three years in prison to a man who sexually abused a minor, 12 years oldwhen both were traveling in the same train car.
He judgment was designated for this tuesday in the First Section of the Provincial Court of Cantabria, but at the beginning of it the public prosecutor’s office, the private accusation and the defense of the accused have reached a agreement.
Thus, the accused has acknowledged the facts and accepted a three-year prison sentencethe Prosecutor’s Office requested four years and the private prosecution five, as the author of a crime of sexual abuse of a minor under 16 years of age, with the concurrence of the mitigating circumstance of the criminal responsibility for reparation of the damage, since it has allocated 600 euros and has agreed to pay up to 9,000 euros in compensation to the victim.
In addition, a measure of seven years of supervised release has been imposed upon him after the end of the custodial sentence, another seven years of removal and prohibition of communicating with the minor, and ten years of disqualification from working with minors.
