The organization has released a statement on its social networks in which it specifies that these people will be accused of negligence, omission of duty, recklessness and lack of responsibility. representing the families of missing persons on October 29, 2024, affected by the effects of the unusual cold drop in populations of the Valencian Community and in Letur (Albacete).
In this sense, the association, which since the beginning of the catastrophe has collaborated with the authorities with the search for missing persons by publishing its alerts, makes a calling to all families that that your family member has been located or is still missing to join your action. “Pain demands truth and justice. This same Monday it was also announced that the party Iustitia Europe expanded his complaint over the management of DANA before the Supreme Courtl, after presenting a brief against the President of the Government on November 3, Pedro Sanchezand the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska.
Eight days later, has included among the defendants the Minister of Ecological Transition, Teresa Riberawhich he accuses of omission of the duty to provide assistance, omissive prevarication, reckless homicide and injuries and has expanded the complaint filed before the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV) against the regional president Carlos Mazón.
The DANA disaster, which occurred thirteen days ago, has left 222 deaths in total, 214 of them only in Valenciaand 23 open disappearance files. In addition, the courts have authorized the delivery to the families of a total of 155 bodies of deceased people, according to data collected since the beginning of DANA and until early this Monday morning.
