Another stop to Giorgia Meloni’s ‘Albania experiment’. The judges of the Court of Rome have suspended the ruling on the validation of the detention of the seven immigrants transported from Italy to Albania on the Libra ship, so They must return to the country from which they left.
Since the arrests ordered by the Rome Police Commissioner had not been validated within the 48-hour period stipulated by law, citizens of Egyptian and Bengali origin traveling to Albania they must be releasedaccording to the Italian media. Since they cannot remain in the Balkan country, as provided for in the protocol signed by Meloni and Edi Rama, they will have to return to Italy.

This list – which will be periodically updated – includes 19 countriesamong them, Egypt, Tunisia, Pakistan and Bangladesh – territories where most of the shipwrecked people rescued in the Mediterranean come from.
