Christmas lovers are very clear about one of the dreams they would like to fulfill: travel to Lapland. In this region of Finland, whose capital that can be reached from Spain is Rovaniemi, lives Santa Claus, one of the Christmas characters par excellence. Thus, the visit to your home and the rest of the area’s attractions make this destination a must-see this time of year. Of course, the price of a trip to Lapland It is not always affordable for everyone.
To begin with, flights to the Finnish region already involve a high expense, plus the stay and activities carried out there. So, although It does not take many days to go to Lapland (4-5 could be enough), the final cost is higher than other Christmas destinations, such as Alsacewhich is closer to Spain.
However, we have looked for several options to enjoy the region and we have found proposals from 800 euros. Some include activities and others allow greater freedom if you prefer unorganized trips, but the objective is the same: fulfill the dream of visiting Lapland at Christmas.

In addition to the advantage this entails, the package includes such interesting activities as searching for the northern lights with a photographer or a Finnish sauna next to a frozen lake.

When are the northern lights in Lapland?
For those who live Christmas, a trip to Lapland should be made between November and January, the Christmas dates par excellence. However, the Finnish region is much more than Santa Claus and is worth visiting at other times of the year. The best northern lights occur between January and Marchso, without a doubt, if your goal is to enjoy them, these months would be the most appropriate.
