The plaintiffs reported the facts to both the CDN and the INAEM, which has confirmed to Efe that it was on October 29 when it became aware of the harassment case. As of that date, the sexual and gender-based harassment protocol was activated. Ministry of Culture.

The INAEM has clarified that the events were not reported outside the area in which they occurred due to the express wish of the affected people, who requested that the case not be publicized. This circumstance has been confirmed this afternoon by the actress Macarena Sanzone of the complainants, who has indicated in a statement “in her personal capacity” on her Instagram profile that, indeed, it was a request from those affected.
“The INAEM and the CDN did not make public the case of harassment that we have suffered because the victims asked for it.. I want to respond to this false information,” declared Sanz, referring to the accusations that the INAEM knew about the case and was hiding it. He added: “The victims have felt accompanied, protected and listened to by our director, Chela de Ferrari, by the CDN and by the INAEM, which, As soon as they became aware, they took action in an exemplary manner and they replaced the denounced actor.” He concluded his message by saying: “I am writing this post personally, thank you.”
The seagull is a production of the National Dramatic Center that premiered in the Avignon Festival 2024 and arrived at the Francisco Nieva Room of the Valle-Inclán Theater on October 9, where will remain on display until next Sunday. The work has been directed by the Peruvian Chela de Ferrari, 67, who has created a version of The seagull with a cast made up almost entirely of blind and visually impaired actors.
