The students of the Rural Accommodation School of the Local Development Agency (ADL) of Torrelavega have delivered this Thursday to the mayor, Javier López Estrada, a box of handmade soaps made by them to be sent to those affected by DANA, to those who have also sent messages of support.
The councilor, accompanied by the Councilor for Local Development, Jesús Sánchez, and Yolanda López, teacher of the course, thanked the students for their solidarity and confirmed that will deliver this donation to the Torrelavega firefighters who are helping in Valencia so that they can be delivered to those affected by the tragedy. In his opinion, this donation goes beyond the material, because each soap – which is used for the skin and clothes – carries the name and telephone number of one of the students in the course so that the person who receives it can contact if they need any kind of help.
