As if it were a soccer dribble, a young man inserted his leg between the legs of another with the intention of destabilize him and snatch the gold chain that he wore around his neck. Thanks to this technique, known as the Ronaldinho method, the thief managed to get hold of the victim’s belongings. However, he did not manage to escape quickly enough and was held until police officers Central Security Police Station (CSS) of the Municipal Police from Madrid they arrested him.
In the early hours of Sunday, October 27, a 19-year-old individual of Moroccan nationality approached a group of young people who were partying in one of the venues located on the ground floor of Orense Street. He offered them marijuana and cocaine, but they rejected him.

It was at that moment when the young man turned towards one of them and removed a gold chain, practicing the method named after the well-known Brazilian soccer player and seeking to destabilize or mislead him while taking his assets.
However, both the victim of this robbery and the young people who accompanied him realized what had happened and pursued the thief, until they caught him and immobilized him. A CCS patrol was passing through the area at that time, whose agents searched the thief, but at first they did not find the stolen chain or the drugs.
It was during an exhaustive search that the municipal agents discovered that he wore double clothes both on the top and bottom of their body, a method that these types of thieves usually use to hide the stolen material.
Thus, they finally found the narcotic substances in the double pair of pants and the stolen chain in the second sock, which was delivered to its rightful owner. This young man was arrested for an alleged crime of robbery with violence and another against public health.
