“We need change in this country!”starts a short text accompanied by the image of his community’s flag sunk in the mud. “I don’t have the strength today to even go to the stadium to see my teammates play,” he adds in a statement in which he then asks for those responsible.
“Frustration and indignation with our leaders, be they one or the other. We need the entire country to step forward. This could happen anywhere. We feel the warmth and support of people from all over the world. The State is failed. The people save the people. Visca Valencia and Viva España”, concluded the footballer.
Ferran was not the only top Spanish footballer who has spoken out on the matter in recent hours, they also did so Koke, in a tough press conference after the match between Atlético and Las Palmasand Marcos Llorente in a statement also shared by Ferran himself on his networks.
