The Plenary Session of the Parliament of Cantabria will debate and approve this Monday, November 4, the repeal of the Law of Historical and Democratic Memory of the region, in addition to other matters related to youth and housing. And it will do so thanks to the votes from PP and Vox, which will assert an absolute majority to overthrow the regulations developed by PRC and PSOE last legislature.
The vote is also held with the opposition from memorial associations and different representatives social and political. Opposition that has been showing itself in recent months and that on Monday will have a new example with the concentration called by the Memory and Democracy Platform of Cantabria at the start time of the plenary session, 10:30 a.m., before Parliament itself.
And the agenda will start with the debate and vote on this bill promoted by the PP and supported by Vox, for the repeal of the Cantabrian norm, which PRC and PSOE have already committed to restoring if they return to government.

Next, the hemicycle will address an initiative from the same range of the regionalists to demand “measures of immediate effect that compensate for the difficulties of youth in accessing services and housing“.
For its part, Vox will demand the resignation of the central government and the calling of general elections, while the PSOE will ask to guarantee the permanent qualification of protected housing that are built on private and public reserve land.

In the afternoon, in the interpellations section, Vox will be interested in the criteria of the PP to hire Tragsa as its own media in the Government’s works and also in the degree of compliance with the agreement for education in Cantabria.

The Plenary will continue with the questions from the regionalists to the Government related to the order of aid to municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants for electronic administration expenses; de Vos about the reports of the ‘Public Works plot’ and the moratorium to not apply the low emissions zone; and of the PSOE on the budget execution of Environment, Transport and Water programs.
The management of teachers’ permits to care for dependent family members will focus other of the PRC’s questions in this session, which will end with a question from Vox about “the loss of profitability of the 14 Liébana cheese factories registered in the Bejes designation of origin.” “Tresviso”.
