A water deliveryman unloading an order in a supermarket in the Valencian town of Burjasot, far from ground zero of the DANAhas publicly denounced that it has been attacked by a man with the argument that he did not bring the merchandise to those affected because of the floods.
This delivery truck driver, Rubén Trapero, explained that he works for a well-known brand of bottled water and that at the time he was unloading it for a supermarket, a man confronted him saying that the water “is for the people there”in reference to the victims of the flood.
“He grabbed me by the neck and threw me to the ground,” said this delivery man, who lamented that there were people in nearby bars “watching and doing nothing.” “They don’t let you work,” continued Trapero, for whom “it is reaching a total point of insecurity citizen.”
He has pointed out that he dedicates himself to work and that he does it when his own sister is a neighbor of Paiporta and has lost two cars, and he would have liked to be helping her this Saturday.
