He chef José Andrés and his NGO World Central Kitchen has distributed this Saturday numerous servings of hot food in Chiva and also in other nearby towns of Valencia seriously affected by the DANA.
Around noon in Chiva, José Andrés went to the door of the City Hall because that is where it is done food collection which is distributed among those affected and has helped unload part of the hot food that he was carrying, as well as several bags with sandwiches and packages with bottles of water.
He spoke with the mayor, Amparo Fort, whom he asked about the situation in the town and why how many servings do you need every day, and has also promised him that he will return in the next few days with more help.
The presence of José Andrés has aroused the curiosity and sympathy of numerous neighbors and volunteers who were in the area and it occurred on a day in which, according to municipal sources, has visited other towns nearby.
World Central Kitchenfounded by José Andrés, is an organization non-profit which provides meals in areas where there have been natural disasters or conflicts.
