A Madrid judge has asked the Supreme Court to investigate a complaint against the MEP from The Party is Over Alvise Perez for an alleged crime of public disorder during the protests in front of the PSOE headquarters in the Ferraz street in Madrid against the amnesty law for those involved in the ‘procés’.
For this, the Investigative Court number 13 of Madrid has elevated the high court a reasoned exposition “since the person denounced holds the status of a member of the European Parliament and is a person certified before the Second (Criminal) Chamber of the Supreme Court,” indicates the judicial resolution.
In the reasoned presentation, the judge Hermenegildo Barrera points out that “there are indications of guilt that have led to the admission of this complaint because it is understood that the identified person could be the author of the criminal act of public disorder.”
The instructor emphasizes that, to clarify the facts, Alvise must be heard “as investigated, with all the guarantees and rights provided for in our legal system”, which is why they send the case to the Supreme Court.
