He Seville Yacht Club has become the great protagonist of the Dashahe Rowing Invitationalinternational rowing event held this weekend in the Chinese town of Nanshan. Taking advantage of the invitation received from the organization, the representatives of the Seville club have achieved a total of five medals in the event held over the distance of 500 meters in the waters of the Dasha River.
Against nine international teams from Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, France, Germany and Italyin addition to Chinese clubs from Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macau, the boats formed by the Olympians of the Yacht Club Jaime Canalejo, Bruno Cetraro and Esperanza Márquezin addition to the also international Rocío Laóhave won three gold medals, one silver and one bronze.
Specifically, the Sevillian triumphs in the Dashahe Rowing Invitational, developed together with the Nanshan Science and Technology Parka town in southeastern China belonging to the subprovince of Shenzhen, came in the men’s skiff events with Cetraro, Olympic diploma in Tokyo and twelfth in Paris; the men’s double sculls Cetraro and CanalejoOlympic diploma at the Tokyo and Paris Games; and four mixed sculls. Silver was achieved in the women’s skiff with Laó and bronze in the women’s double sculls.
