LaLiga will denounce racist insults against FC Barcelona players at the Bernabéu

LaLiga announced this Sunday that will immediately denounce the insults and racist gestures received by FC Barcelona players in ‘El Clásico’ against Real Madrid, played last night at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, before the National Police and the hate crimes and discrimination unit of the State Attorney General’s Office.

In a statement, LaLiga indicated that during the match “intolerable racist behavior” was observed and he “strongly condemned these events.” The insults, viralized through social networks, occurred during the celebrations of the Catalan team’s goals.

“LaLiga remains firm in its commitment to eradicate any type of racist behavior and hatred inside and outside the stadiums. There is no place in sport for this scourge,” the competition added, closing the statement.

Real Madrid fans uttered numerous insults from the stands, especially against Lamine Yamalthe 17-year-old young star of the Barça team. In the videos you can hear “fucking black” or “sell tissues at the traffic light, sell tissues at the traffic light, son of a bitch.”
