“Fucking black man”, “fucking Moor”, “go to the traffic light to sell scarves”, “fucking shit”… these are some of the serious and regrettable racist insults that Lamine Yamal suffered at the Santiago Bernabéu. The fans of the white team took it upon themselves with the young 17-year-old winger after he scored his team’s third goal, the first he had scored in his short career in the fiefdom of the eternal rival.
A simple celebration was enough for the fans present in one of the backgrounds to utter all kinds of insults and disqualifications, among which there were serious racist insults. Lamine went to the sideline and Raphinha quickly appeared to hug him. “Your fucking mother” is heard in one of the videos. “Son of a bitch, you’re a piece of shit, that’s what you are.” “Puto moro” and “puto negro” says another, to whom a video perfectly captures the moment in which he executes it.
Shortly after, Raphinha and Lamine approach again to take a corner and the insults continue. “Go to the traffic light to sell handkerchiefs, to sell handkerchiefs,” they say from the stands while the Barça players avoid any gesture of provocation or response to the stands.
In recent times there have been several cases of racism on soccer fields in Spain. On some occasions the victim of such behavior has been Vinícius and in those cases Real Madrid demanded forceful responses against the aggressors.
In this case, the white team assures that it has already opened an investigation to locate the authors of these insults to punish them and bring them to justice. This is the white team’s statement:

Finally, it remains to be known what the position of LaLiga will be, which usually denounces racist insults that occur in all fields. Furthermore, the competition committee could enter, as it has done in other cases such as Mestalla or the Civitas Metropolitano, to propose the closure of a part of the stands of the white team’s stadium.
