The journalist has been in charge of publicizing the testimonies of sexist violence that several women have reported anonymously, in which Íñigo Errejón is involved.
One of the key names in what many already call the Errejón case is that of the journalist Cristinas Fallarás. Through his personal Instagram account, he is collecting the messages that many women are sending him and publishing them on said application, maintaining them. The most notable of them was one that was directly related to Sumar’s former politician, Íñigo Errejón.
At noon on Saturday, October 26, the journalist reported that her Instagram account had been closed, as reported by TVE’s 24h channel, by the Meta application itself.
«Your Instagram account has been suspended because it or the activity on it does not comply with our Community Standards. If you think we have made a mistake, you have until April 24, 2025 to appeal the decision,” this is the message that appeared on the Fallarás account when trying to log in, as shown in its 24h broadcast. The journalist has filed an appeal to review the case of closing her account and to be able to use the profile again.
For several months now, Cristina Fallarás announced that she was making her Instagram account available to anyone who needed it so that it could be used as a speaker to report cases of sexist violence and sexual harassment completely anonymously. Although some of the complaints were directly related to Errejón, you will not notice in the public channel that it has received and continues to receive many more, referring to other politicians and public figures.
