Manuel Lao Gorina, son of Manuel Lao Hernández, has joined the board of directors of Arcano Asesores Financieros, the parent company of the Arcano Group and which includes the investment firm Arcano Partners.
He does it replacing Miguel Fortezawho joined the firm in September 2023, and who was the representative of Nortia Capital on the board of directors, according to the records of the Official Gazette of the Commercial Registry (Borme).
It was in April 2023 when the Lao family firm, Nortia Capital, entered the capital of Arcano with the purchase of 15%. Since that moment, two directors associated with Nortia have passed through Arcano: María Forner and Miguel Forteza, who are now joined by Manuel Lao Gorina, who assumed the position of CEO of the ‘investment arm’ established by his father in 2023. .
This week, in fact, it was known another move related to the Lao family: the entry of the current director of Nortia – and former director of CaixaBank’s retail business -, Juan Alcaraz, on the board of directors of MyInvestor, where Nortia led, together with Arama Futuro, a financing round at the end of 2023.
