The Civil Guard has arrested a 56-year-old man in Palencia for crimes against sexual freedom, prostitution and corruption of minors, being aware of this circumstance.
The detainee, who was already arrested for similar events in April of this same year, used one of the minors as victim finder to carry out sexual assaults in exchange for money and pills.
The investigation part of the complaint of the father of one of the minorsat the Palencia Civil Guard post. In it, the parent declares that her daughter was being sexually abused by an adult. Furthermore, the complainant informs the agents of the name of the perpetrator of these abuses and that this person offered money and pills to his daughter in exchange for having sexual relations.
The investigators identified both the detainee and the other six minors with whom the aggressor attempted to have sexual relations. The detainee knew perfectly well that they were all minors, and took advantage of their vulnerable situations, as they were protected by different social services.
Of the six minors, five are women, and the sixth is a man who played the facilitator role for the aggressor, thereby obtaining an economic benefit. This minor has also been investigated for a crime of inducing and favoring the prostitution of minors by facilitating contacts between the detainee and the other five minors.
Near a juvenile center
During the month of April, the Civil Guard already arrested the author for other similar events. Thanks to the notice from a juvenile center located in Palencia, an investigation was initiated that culminated in the identification of the aggressor and three other minors with whom he established contact and tried to maintain relationships.
The proceedings carried out, together with the detainee, have been made available to the Investigative Court number 1 of Palencia. The Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office will represent the Public Ministry.
