The JZI funds, shareholders of companies such as the electricity marketer Factorenergía, and Taiga Mistral have set to work to boost the size of Luxida, their investment vehicle for the electricity distribution sector.
The company has plans to acquire network companies with a goal of reaching a target investment volume of 150 million euros.
Luxida has just notified the CNMC of a preliminary agreement for the purchase of Empresa de Electricidad San José, a Sevillian distributor that has been in charge of supplying Villamanrique since 1974.
Luxida already has Luz Eléctrica Los Molares, owner of the network of the Sevillian municipality of Los Molares. With this purchase, the company will close its sixth purchase of electrical distribution companies since its launch in 2018 and the third it has acquired in the province of Seville, where it also already has the Eléctrica Santa Clara company.
Luxida has a presence in generation, distribution and marketing in the provinces of Albacete, Barcelona, Cádiz, Ciudad Real, Gerona, Guadalajara, Huelva and Madrid.
