The Association of Sobaos Pasiegos and Quesadas Manufacturers of Cantabria (AFASQUE) has held a Board of Directors in which the renewal of positionsseeking to mark a key point in the consolidation of the entity and its future strategy.
The presidency This new stage has passed to Mª Ángeles Sainz García, representative of the company “Joselin“, while the vice presidency will be led by Adolfo Gómez Diego, representative of “Serafina“. Fernando Fernández García, representative of “The Macho“, will act as Secretaryand how Treasurer Pablo Pelayo Alonso, representative of “The Zapita“.
With this renewal, the Association seeks to symbolize a renewed commitment to advance in promotion of sobaos and quesadaswhich guarantees the quality and authenticity of these emblematic products of Cantabria. In addition, the newly appointed management team aims to strengthen inter-institutional collaboration, promote innovation in the sector and defend the interests of associated manufacturers.

In addition, AFASQUE plans to expand its membership base with the incorporation of new sobaos and quesadas manufacturers from Cantabriathus reinforcing its representativeness in the sector.
