Neither the first nor the second, nor the third: none of the complaints filed against the instructor Juan Carlos Peinado for his investigation of the wife of the President of the Government have been successful. As it became known this Wednesday, on Tuesday the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid agreed to reject the complaint filed by Begoña Gómez, thus ruling out that the instructor had committed a crime of prevarication and revelation of secrets, in accordance with the criteria of the Prosecutor’s Office.
After discarding the complaint by journalist Máximo Pradera (who accused Peinado of revealing secrets) and the one presented by President Pedro Sánchez through the State Attorney’s Office (also for prevarication), the court has rejected Begoña Gómez’s complaint because ” “there are no reasons” to appreciate the reported crime. This is indicated by the three magistrates who have studied the writing, Francisco José Goyena, Jacobo Vigil and María Prado.
