He Sevilla FC has appointed Lorenzo Aldobrandini as the new head of Sponsorship Department. The Italian executive has extensive experience in the sector and arrives from AC Milan, one of the most important clubs in the world of football. At the Rossonero club he has held the position of director of Sponsorship Strategy and director of Commercial Development from 2020 until assuming his new responsibilities at Sevilla FC.
Aldobrandini lands after Sevilla FC was unable to find the main sponsor for its shirt last season, even being in the top showcase of the Champions League, a problem that continues to be present in this 2024-25 season.
Lorenzo Aldobrandini has held commercial positions in prestigious companies such as Wasserman, I.M.G. in London, and the renowned brand Ferrari in Maranello (Italy). In all of them, he held positions related to commercial management. He trained in International Relations and Economics at Oxford Brookes University and completed a Master in Business Administration and Management (MBA) at IESE Business School in Barcelona.
He now begins his first experience in Spanish football, replacing Gonzalo Lasarteto whom Sevilla FC “thanks for his almost four years of dedication as head of the Sponsorship Department.”
Besides, Thomas Arrobawho had been serving as Marketing Director at Rayo Vallecano, has been integrated into the Sponsorship area of Sevilla FC approximately a month ago, also contributing to the development of this important area of the club.
