The Supreme Court (TS) rejects the two complaints against the first vice president and Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, for revealing personal and confidential data of Alberto González Amador, partner of the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz-Ayuso.
The complaints were filed by the Liberum Association and the Freedom and Alternative Forum Foundation for some public statements made by the minister on March 12 at 5:30 p.m. in which he asked the Madrid president for explanations for being “living in an apartment that was paid for with fraud to the Public Treasury and that was paid for with commissions regarding the masks.”
The Supreme Court order of October 16, but known this Tuesday, indicates that these facts do not cover the crimes of discovery or disclosure of secrets or infidelity in the custody of documents or violation of secrets.
According to the high court, when Montero made these statements, The information had already spread to the media. previously, specifically at 6:01 a.m. that morning, “so no data or information could be revealed.” He also denies that he had knowledge of the data due to his position.
