Thus, both unions highlight that this agreement has been possible because achieved the “priority” objectives that they setwhich involved minimizing the initial impact, vacancies with more days than those initially offered by the company, as well as voluntariness and certain “good” exit conditions of the company for people who have finally been affected, thus avoiding “traumatic” exits.
The final conditions proposed by the company to settle the ERE negotiations include a reduction of its impact until the 492 workersin front of the 588 layoffs planned at first, which later They managed to reduce the final figure to 521.
In the proposal, the firm places the compensation for those affected between 45 and 33 days per year worked with a limit of 24 monthly payments, which includes a seniority bonus. Specifically, it will be 2,500 euros up to five years, 3,500 euros up to ten years and 4,500 euros for those who have been in the company for more than ten years.
It also includes the possibility of exchange –change between affected people who want to remain in the company and people who, voluntarily, without being affected, want to leave–, as well as a support and relocation plan, which in the case of people over 50 years of age will have the duration they need until their relocation.
