He confesses to the murder of his mother to the cameras of Pomeriggio 5
He confesses to the murder of his sick mother on camera Afternoon 5: this is what happened yesterday, Monday September, in Spezzano di Fiorano, in the province of Modena.
The program was covering the death of 80-year-old Loretta Levrini, found strangled in her bed at home, when the woman’s son, who was untraceable, was seen outside the victim’s house by the Mediaset program’s correspondent.
In an evident state of shock, the man was interviewed by the journalist to whom he confessed the murder: “Yes, it was me.”
“My mother was between dementia and Alzheimer’s and sometimes she would say things… I couldn’t take it anymore, it was instinctive, I don’t know why. How am I? I’m sick,” added the man.
Lorenzo Carbone, 50, later said he killed his mother “because I couldn’t handle her. I don’t know why I did it, I don’t know.”

“I was in Pavullo last night but I didn’t sleep anywhere, I was walking around the streets. No, I wasn’t hiding,” the killer said.
And again: “I can’t stay calm. My mother would make me a little angry every now and then, but it wasn’t like I went ‘crazy’, you know. She just made me a little angry because she always said the same things: ‘Why did Nadia, my sister, make the bed. Why did she do this?’ I wasn’t being treated anywhere. It just came to me, instinctively I did it. I strangled her, first I tried with the pillow, then I took off the pillowcase and tried with the pillowcase and then I used the ribbons, the laces. I don’t know what to say.”
