The Friedkins Acquire Everton
Agreement reached: the Friedkin Groupowner of Roma in Serie A, also buys EvertonEnglish club Liverpool. After the stop and go of negotiations in the past few months, and the rumours of these hours, an official press release has been issued explaining that the agreement for the sale of the majority stake in Everton, in the hands of Blue Heaven Holdingsto the Texan tycoon’s group.
“Blue Heaven Holdings And The Friedkin Group – reads the note – confirm that they have reached an agreement on the terms of the sale of Blue Heaven Holdings’ majority stake in Everton Football Club. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval, including from the Premier Leaguethe Football Federation and the Financial Conduct Authority“.
A spokesperson for The Friedkin Group added: “We are delighted to have reached an agreement to become custodians of this iconic football club. We are focused on securing the necessary approvals to complete the transaction. We look forward to providing stability to the club and sharing our vision for its future, including the completion of the new Everton Stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock”.
