Ciudad Juárez— A man who was walking and carrying a shotgun was arrested Tuesday afternoon in the Hacienda de las Torres neighborhood, reported the spokesman for the Municipal Public Security Secretariat, Adrián Sánchez.
Municipal officers who were carrying out surveillance work on Yepómera and Prolongación las Torres streets noticed a subject who was carrying an object wrapped in a sheet in his hands, who showed an evasive attitude when they saw the police units passing by him.
The spokesman said that he was approached and when they checked what he was carrying, they seized a 12-millimeter caliber shotgun, loaded with three live cartridges, proceeding to arrest the man who identified himself as Juan Daniel RR, 30 years old.
He was brought before the Public Prosecutor’s Office in the Northern District Prosecutor’s Office.
