Chihuahua.- Former Governor Patricio Martínez García sent a letter addressed to the president of the state PRI, Alejandro Domínguez, to clarify that he is not part of or organizing any association to challenge the reelection of Alejandro Moreno “Alito” in the National Executive Committee of the party.
“I have not signed, I am not part of any group to challenge the re-election of Mr. Alejandro Moreno Cárdenas in the CEN, it was very firm from the communication we sent him on June 27, 2022. I have not changed it,” the document says verbatim.
To explain his opinion about Alejandro Moreno, he appealed to a series of verses from the Bible, from the New Testament in Matthew 15 – 20 which in its Reina Valera version says:
“Explain to us the parable,” Peter asked. “Can you not understand it either?” Jesus said. “Don’t you realize that everything that goes into the mouth goes into the stomach and then into the toilet? But what comes out of the mouth comes from the heart and defiles a person. For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony and slander. These are the things that defile a person, not eating with unwashed hands.”
The former president said that in his opinion, the cited biblical text defines the PRI of the 21st century and before ending with a cordial greeting, he asked for forgiveness from the memory of the moral leader of the historic PRI, Plutarco Elías Calles.
