Jannik Sinner, here’s how much the number 1 earns
Jannik Sinner became the first Italian in history to triumph in the men’s final of the US Open. The world ranking leader, after winning the Australian Open, obtained his second Slam title by beating Taylor Fritz.
The success in the United States allowed him to add the sixteenth trophy to his collection, surpass the threshold of 11,000 points in the ATP ranking and collect a record prize that further increased his already considerable assets.
By defeating Fritz on Sunday night, Sinner, who had already guaranteed himself $1.8 million by reaching the final, took home around $3.6 million. Since the beginning of his career, the world number one has accumulated more than 24 million dollars in prize money alone.
However, The prizes represent only a small part of its total revenue. The most significant part of his net worth comes from endorsements, to which are added his television appearances, which in 2023 reached 20 million dollars.
Sinner boasts agreements with numerous brands: with Nike it has signed a ten-year contract worth 150 million dollars. In addition to these, there are collaborations with Gucci, Rolex, Lavazza, Fastweb, Intesa Sanpaolo, as well as licensing and merchandising agreements with Panini and Pigna.
In 2024, further partnerships were added with Formula 1, De Cecco, La Roche-Posay and Enervit. According to Forbes, Sinner’s total earnings in 2023 amount to $38.4 million (before taxes and agent fees), split between $13.4 million from tournament wins and another $25 million from endorsements and television appearances.
