Little girl falls into swimming pool while on vacation with family, the situation is dramatic: where and what happened

This summer there have been many, too many, cases of tragedy or dramas that were narrowly avoided in tourist facilities, especially in public swimming pools or those open to guests. Today we are reporting, as rarely as it happens, the miraculous rescue of a girl fell into a swimming pool.

The incident involved an 18-month-old girl who is currently hospitalised in reserved prognosis at the Meyer pediatric hospital in Florence. The little girl, in fact, ended up in the swimming pool of a farmhouse in Foiano della Chiana, in the province of Arezzo. She was saved by a miracle, but improvements are expected during the child’s hospitalization.

THE’accident It happened this morning around 10:30. The little girl, of Israeli nationality, was on vacation with her family when, escaping the control of her parents, she lost her balance moving near the pool, falling into the water. The intervention of the people present was immediate, who performed a cardiac massage following the instructions provided by the operations center.

The 118 staff, once they arrived on site, stabilized the child and, in red coderushed her to the Meyer hospital in Florence via the Pegaso helicopter rescue. Investigations are currently underway to clarify the exact dynamics of what happened. It seems to be a very unfortunate episode in which a minimal distraction from the parents was enough.

This episode adds to a series of accidents, mostly fatal, that occurred this summer. Only at the beginning of August, another little girl of about two years old lost her life after falling into a swimming pool in a farmhouse in Valdambra, in Bucine. For the little girl it had been a week of fighting between life and death at the pediatric hospital in Florence.
