Autotune Doesn’t Work, Fedez Responds to Criticism on Social Media
Fedez responds to criticism that arose on social media following a video showing the singer singing out of tune due to an autotune problem.
In a video posted on his profile Instagram, where the singer wrote “I’m not Celine Dion”, Fedez declared: “I sang like shit Sexy Shop at a date? Not because there was no autotune. I probably would have sung it badly anyway, but in this case there was and it was set to a harmonic scale different from the key of the song. So even if someone in tune had sung it, not me obviously, it would have been out of tune anyway because the autotune takes you to the wrong notes compared to those of the song”.
But isn’t it sometimes better to remain silent?
I ask.#fedez#circusflu pic.twitter.com/6WN1b2Txe0— LaSandra (@Mariquita_la1a) September 8, 2024
“I won’t hide from you that I’m a little pissed off because I always want to give my best and we couldn’t solve the technical problem on that song, also because we had three dates in one night. Thanks to those who came, even though I sang like shit Sexy Shop. The others? I would give myself a 6, or rather, between 6 and 7… I promise you that Sexy Shop I won’t do it again for you, I’ll do you a favor by not singing it again.”
